Also, by "strategic" we mean provinces that decide the whole war, not a sequence of provinces you capture for a single operation.
Control over Gibraltar, Copenhagen, Suez, Istanbul and Colon is vital to every alliance, be it allies, axis or comintern. Resource-rich provinces are also useful throughout the whole game.
Dijon and Liege are strategicaly not too significant. Yes, you end up taking them during the war, but if I see 30 French divisions in Vichy I'll say "screw that!" and take the less defended ones. There are many combinations that bring French "Lost_National" to 40...

And it's got nothing to do with dialects, in written form "aussie english", english english and american english don't actually vary that much apart from spelling in certain unique words. It was obvious from your first post that english is not your first language, and so what, all I'm saying is that your english is hard to understand. Not impossible to understand, but your attitude doesn't exactly encourage patience.

many people here write provEnce for provInce, and it's not a typo, nor a linguistic problem (mean people as I who are not english native), some other wrote the funny gibrabator or things like that.
So yes my idea was to do humor about Colon, instestin system and Koln/Cologne.
I was corrected immediatly, and I do stand corrected (mean it was not a good joke). But the poster who corected me did it almost immediatly, and I accepted the correction (Colon is the province where the panama canal stand) immediatly also.
So now I do not see/understand why people are still speaking about that 3 days after, I did say it was humor and bad humor. By so it also imply what I said after about strategical provinces in my point of view and by respect to the way I use to play is simply throw to garbage ... A bit weird, it would be like during the next US election if the Democrat start to say Bush is not able to drive a car because he was alcoholic 30 years ago ... Not diffamatory but really bad and not trully relevant.
Anyway , for what I care ... It will not change how I play nor how I plan my WC. Not it will make anyone change the way he/she is playing. But why people stuck on something that was corrected, rather than address the real points, for exemple :
If Gibraltar is really important and if after one week of war it became too difficult to be taken by Germany, so Germany must simply avoid that and reduce the importance of this province. Pupeting Spain , and by so be able to make spanish troop attack gibraltar the very frist hour of the war is possible, because Spain is not garanteed by any country. So I do not consider Gibraltar so much important. Speed is crucial factor, and anyway to reduce time spend by fighting with western allied is a good things, even if it's one day or one hour. By so, if I can invade france quickly Vichy will pop up earlier, and I also need to be sure vichy will pop up.... That imply in fact the real key provinces will be those that trigger the BP. If as germany I kick the wastern allieds and then got the BP, even a full powered USA will not harm me.
Anyway I will try to delete my precedents posts, like htat noone will feel offended because a SILLY reference to the human body.
