In my recent game as Germany, I defeated the USSR in a bit less than 6 weeks. I had 30 panzer divisions with medium tanks. Of those 12 attacked into eastern Poland, 12 from what used to be Romania, and 6 from Turkey.
I made a huge pocket in Ukraine/White Russia, and then another in the Baltic States when I cut off Lenningrad. The panzers attacking from Turkey captured Batum and then drove east and pocketed everyone there.
There were just about no Soviet troops left. There was no reserve in Moscow, or anywhere else that I could see. There was nothing left to do but drive east, swatting away Red Army units that had SR'd from other fronts, until they capitulated.
That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over! - PVT Hudson.
No matter what country I'm playing I ALWAYS have a strategic reserve. I never seen the AI have one. Is this something that is even programmed? Or are all of their units always on a front or garrisoning somewhere?
