Strategic Redeployment costs MORE fuel?

It's on the map now, you can grab a division and say 'stop the trains and get off here'. It should have a big fat org penalty for the disruption of telling a dozen troop trains (who won't all be in the same spot) to stop, but it probably won't.

Not sure what map you mean its on?? Unless you are a beta tester, then it would make sense your talking about "your map"

Thanks Rens! Excellent job on the Quickstart, barring that one little thing. Otherwise a great read with lots of useful info. I put it straight into my Short-Cuts folder on my desktop.

You refer frequently to the Strategy Guide. Will that be included with the game, or is that extra?

OMG, I've been trying to figure our Strategic redeployment for two hours! How many other undocumented keyboard tricks are there? We need a keyboard shortcut list for the stupid masses trying to figure out how to play this game!

L1.1 Unit Orders Interface & Support Attack
There is a more exact way of issuing Movement or Attack Orders for Land Units. Select the Units you want to order – individual units or a stack. Then control-rightclick on the province where you want to move or attack into. The Unit Orders Interface will appear.

Hardly undocumented.
(Note: The manual includes a graphic that shows the interface with Strategic Redeployment)

You know... I can appreciate that we're all human and make errors, and its good that this is cleared up but... Did you even consider, oh I don't know, looking at the manual? At the end of the day the manual should be the definitive source for information, although that isnt' always the case especially with games like this that involve a lot of little details that get changed over time. But the manual clearly states that Strategic Redeployment incures an organizational penalty and consumes extra supplies but does not cost fuel even for units that normally use it.

Hmmm, just noticed this was a thread centered around discussions a few weeks ago. Kind of dulls my point.
