Strategic Mutiplayer in KA2?

I was wondering I love the KA game, but I got it for a friend and we can only Mutiplay battles,

I'd love for an option where the two of us could be Kings and either play together or against each other in something similar to the single player campaign, with a full map quests and everything... is there ANY way, or possibility for this to happen?

Dont think so, I guess it would be almost impossible to implement with the current gameplay...

I think they are sticking to single player only at this stage. I would prefer a top notch single player campaign over some half baked multiplayer system.

Although a coop campaign would be something that would be cool to have implemented in a future game.
