Strange tech teams

hey I know this is prolly gonne sound really noobish but...

I installed armageddon anthology and added the 1.2 patch for it. I then changed the dutch tech team set up and that worked fine ingame. ''teams_hol.csv''

I then tried editing the german tech team. ''teams_ger.csv'' but all my changes don't show up no matter what I try :S

are they assigned to a different tag? am I doing something wrong?

I just want uber third reich :wacko: help plz

You didn't use game editor, did you? It has tendency of screwing the installation.

As for your problem, the tech team info is saved in the save file. So the changes are in effect only if you start new game. Did you start new game or continue from old save?

So how does one mod a save file? There seem to be two files for each save game, neither of which I know how to open.

Alright, looks like it can be opened with WordPad with little difficulty. Is there a better program to open saves with?

Alright, so I found that I could change the component types that a tech team possessed in the save file, but only if the new component name doesnt exceed the length in text of the previous component. Whats up with this?? The notepad simply stops recording what I type after I exceed some sort of text limit.

Anyone else had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Germanpeon, You need more memory. I had similar problems when using wordpad on old computer but with notepad and newer computer I never have such problems any more.

Hmm pretty weird. It should be working perfectly. Could you post the edited German tech team file?
