The real strange thing is that Puerto Rico is getting most of the immigrants.
Romania stronk. All AI, I had nothing to do with it. They would have even taken their last cores from Turkey if I hadn't been fighting their allies just then.
A quople of years earlier they also had Rhône, but france took it back while Italy was in a Great War vs. me and Germany. They don't have any colonies though.
Also a few years ago, Serbia had Slavonia. I've never seen Austria this small before.
I thought this strange, a hands off POD game, the UK Released Canada in 1837, they gained all of Rupert's land in the mid 1840s, and now they're on their way to being a great power. Also the US allowed the UK to keep Caribou in northern Maine.
The Confederation of Senegal is a colonial puppet of France. They are currently both competeing to colonize Niger. The AI is confused...
The weirdest part about that is Senegal being able to become a secondary power.
They aren't. I think they somehow inherited the ongoing colonizations from France when they were released. AI France obviously didn't understand this and started to compete with them. France won Niger and Senegal the one for south eastern Algeria. A pity that no crisis came out of it, THAT would have been really strange.
I think Senegal do have the capacity to become a secondary power though, in my current China game they're ranked 18th and have climbed significantly once they were released from whomever once owned them.
How the mighty have fallen. Probably didn't help when I blew the Statue of Liberty up later. Or when the FSA invaded and burnt the White House down. Or when the CSA re-seceded. Interested to see what the final state of the union will be.
I've no idea how they got that weak in the first place. I think the Civil War was a bit tougher than typical, and the last thing I saw before New England seceded they'd just gone bankrupt and were having trouble with militant socialists.

FSA chain used to be borderline impossible to beat for AI USA in APD/PoD
But it's GSG and the CSA did secede- the FSA only seceded after New England did.

What's that country between the FSA and Canada?
Some cases of cultural strangeness from my converted save (with standard V2 POPs):
One province minor Colombia next to three province minor Gran Colombia. Colombia's one province has 746570 people, and it is communist but still kept slavery for some reason. Only 2-3% of the population is communist, and the rebels are anarcho-liberals, who are even less popular. Communists rebel again later and win, then I liberated the rest of Colombia from Venezuela while simultaneously using a conquest CB on Colombia, so I conquered it all at once. Bogota was the most populous province in the Americas in my game.
