I believe Prussia starts the game with a core on Neuchâtel-- which is historical, and the Prussian claim to the region didn't vanish until the Neuchâtel rebellion in 1848 and the crisis that followed in 1856 when royalists revolted. Certainly a weird result to have Prussia freed in all of western Switzerland, though... but that's what you get when entire states are exchanged instead of just cores.
Which is why I've argued for the ability to pick and choose individual provinces if you so wish since I've picked up the game. I hate wanting to take the lands Chile took from Peru and Bolivia but being stuck with stuff neither I nor the Chileans OTL ever wanted because you have to take the whole state.
I was playing a game with Austria to check out the new Expansion when I came across this.
The original Prussia had ceased to exist since it formed the North German Federation.
France worked out a Casus Belli of Prussian Liberation against Switzerland, won the war and released the conquered provinces as Prussia, their puppet.
And as you can see, Prussia doesn't even have a core in these regions.
it has core on one region strangley its there capital region so u cant declare war as prussia
Yeah, I have all of South America except for Bolivia and Fascist Chili in my SOI. Greece is also in my SOI and I got a 'place in the sun' event CB against the OT. I had already liberated ALL of Greece from the OT and had taken Tunsia and it's desert for myself in the first war with them. The second war with them I freed Bulgaria completely and liberated the Greek Aegean Islands from the OT (stepping in to help Greece who started the war). Their capital moved so I thought, screw them, and decalred again after making my own CB so I could get Greece to take Istanbul. I called my allies (all of south america except those I mentioned, mexico, USA, Belgum, Sweeden, Italy, Portugal and some others I cant remember. The war went well and South America decided they wanted some land in Turkey.
Also is countries like Flanders and Iceland weird appearing in AHD? Because I have those in my game
Imagine my surprise when British India collapsed, leaving a bunch of civilized Indian states in its place.
Things got really weird when newly independent Bengal became a Great Power shortly after.
They even turned Communist later that century :laugh:.

Italy is trying to take on Austria, Russia, France and the Netherlands all by itself.
Brazil has declared war on Bolivia for the same wargoal as Chile, with the likely result being that Chile won't be able to get enough warscore for their goal, and then WP out.
