Yes, France getting a foothold in Scandinavia can be a problem. France in my game was just annihilated by Burgundy, and not at all soon into the game it's only Western European territory was Il de France (which it lost to Austria for about 30 years but then recovered). At the same time, however, it defeated, and annexed Sweden, and is now close to annexing Norway as well.

At the time of that screenshot, probably next to none. But I've played up to the 1770s and Georgia has managed to hold on to those lands and even kept expanding. Then, they broke their BB limit so I fear they might be going down nowMore important:
