Surely that is a mod event? It is barely decipherable. Even as Paradox English go, this one seems particularly flawed.
im sorry but most of the events look like they were wrote by a immature person. e.g. there are events that only have 1 option (like that one) or 3 options with only one outcome (like that comet event) or events that are just plain silly (the road event)
The comet event is a running joke. Originally, you just lost 1 stability. Then people wanted more choice, so they added another option.
As for single-option events, not all events come with a choice. Sometimes, things happen, and you get to deal with it. Sorta like life.

I don't understand what the point of the comment event is. This is a serious game I don't play it to be fulled. And no i don't wanna deal with it. You should have options to seriously deal with the situation one way or the other.
The other strange thing is that, comets didn't show up at random, may the history in the world go so or so, they don't influence space, so meteorites were surly not random but appeared over a certain area over a certain time.
Comets are random to anyone who has no idea what they are: anyone before the enlightenment who wasn;t a natural philosopher. And Comets were a well known portent of disaster: see 1066
Have a sense of humour! This is a game, for fun. If you're a srs bsns conqueror, get off your computer, grab your general's hat, go out the door and be a modern day Genghis Khan.
But if you're not prepared to do that, try and understand that the developers of this game strive to make the boring bits- like when you're waiting for stability, or for badboy to go down, or for cores to happen- more interesting. And a twist of fun in them makes it even better. For example, there is a series of events relating to the death of your heir- fine, great idea for an event, you thought your succession was safe, think again! However, they tied it in with the Shining. Genius. It's funny quirks like that that make me love Paradox, EU3 and Crusader Kings.

I've been here for the last 50 pages, and I still can't understand why no-one asks about the 2 extra pages! You know, those pages that you click but bring you back here...
Most people have been here much longer than that and have learned not to question the mysterious extra pages. Sometimes they appear, sometimes they disappear, they are always a different number depending on the user and web browser. Whatever they are and whatever their purpose is, they are the will of the forum gods and must not be questioned!

I would say they are in a very tough spot being the vassal of the 2nd largest country in Western Continental Europe and under personal union with the largest country with the largest army in the world (though it's so spread out over my different holdings that in Europe alone Spain, Burgundy, Great Britain, Austria, Muscowy and the Ottomans could hurt me a lot).
