Sorry for the long post and/or huge images. I'm cleaning my screenshots folder and I play on high resolution. Some/many of these kinds of things have probably been already posted, so sorry if they aren't new ^_^

sunnimongols.png

Sunni... Mongol natives. What?

protestantzaporozhie.png

Never seen a Protestant Zaporozhie before.

onedivisionperarmy.png

MERGE YOUR UNITS ALREADY.
(And they're all off sitting on a little Danish island, too.)

naxosinmahsardinia.png

Naxos is expanding.
(IIRC they ended up with all of Sardinia and kept it for a while.)

kingofgeorgiaandburgundy.png

Something you don't see every day. It lasted through a monarch death too (and this is a winning Burgundy, not a failing one.)

kingofaustriaandfrance.png

OHCRAPOHCRAPOHCRAP
I think that one succeeded also.

PUconfusion.png

They have two rulers, each of whom also has his own country.
Wonder how that happened.

englandfails.png

Yes. Yes you do.
(The odd thing is that both Cornwall and Northumberland are vassals of England (and at war), and Northumberland doesn't own any of its original cores. Also, Northumberland ended up annexing England in that same war - I thought that was only possible to do on revolutionary nations, not by them... )

epictrierianfleet.png

They must be really depressed if their navy makes them that happy.

funwithepeiros.png

Epirote nationalists wandered all around Greece for a while, so Epeiros has some nice cores.

aquileianantwerpen.png

Sure, the Ottomans do it all the time, but Aquileia?

awesomename.png

Just an awesome name.

funwithspies.png

What's Aragon doing supporting Sunni zealots in the Hungarian-held Caucasus?

gogotland.png

Go Gotland!

goleinster.png

Dang religious Irish there.

irishtradecenterfever.png

The Irish do love their trade centers. Every nation except Munster has one, and Tyrone has three - one of the ones that looks like it's in Meath is actually in Louth.
In the same game, Norway also had two trade centers at once. It was chaotic.

patrioticsicilians.png

They're so patriotic, they took over their own country to show their love for it!
(In case you want to know, they're revolting from Ming - I had some fun with Zheng He, then switched to Byzantium because I noticed that they weren't failing miserably for once.)

noeffort.png

The Aboriginals are apparently pacifists - they let me win before I even got my troops in sight.
(More fun with Zheng He, this time in WWM.)

Quite interesting considering how they just lost some wars, have a regency council, just lost one of their provinces, just left the HRE while I've expanded my realm, beating france in several wars!

Well maybe it's supposed to work that way, who knows?

Sunni... Mongol natives. What?

IIRC, the natives there have alway been Sunni Mongols, all the way back to the original release of EUIII.

Never seen a Protestant Zaporozhie before.

Pretty common, actually.

MERGE YOUR UNITS ALREADY.

Again, pretty common.

Naxos is expanding.
(IIRC they ended up with all of Sardinia and kept it for a while.)

OK, that one is a bit unusual.

Something you don't see every day. It lasted through a monarch death too (and this is a winning Burgundy, not a failing one.)

I think that one succeeded also.

Yikes.

They have two rulers, each of whom also has his own country.
Wonder how that happened.

?

The odd thing is that both Cornwall and Northumberland are vassals of England (and at war), and Northumberland doesn't own any of its original cores. Also, Northumberland ended up annexing England in that same war - I thought that was only possible to do on revolutionary nations, not by them...

Nope, either the revolter or the country revolted from can annex the other. I think it was reported as a bug some time ago, but the bug report was dismissed with the comment that this is WAD.

They must be really depressed if their navy makes them that happy.

Epirote nationalists wandered all around Greece for a while, so Epeiros has some nice cores.

Lol.

Sure, the Ottomans do it all the time, but Aquileia?

?

Just an awesome name.

Yep.

What's Aragon doing supporting Sunni zealots in the Hungarian-held Caucasus?

Trying to mess up the Hungarians, I'd guess.

Go Gotland!

Indeed.

Dang religious Irish there.

Not sure what's supposed to be strange here...

The Irish do love their trade centers. Every nation except Munster has one, and Tyrone has three - one of the ones that looks like it's in Meath is actually in Louth.
In the same game, Norway also had two trade centers at once. It was chaotic.

That's gotta be a bug or a corrupted save or something.

They're so patriotic, they took over their own country to show their love for it!
(In case you want to know, they're revolting from Ming - I had some fun with Zheng He, then switched to Byzantium because I noticed that they weren't failing miserably for once.)

Now that they've become independent, the troops will change over to being just regular Sicilian troops, probably when the 1st of the next month rolls around.

The Aboriginals are apparently pacifists - they let me win before I even got my troops in sight.
(More fun with Zheng He, this time in WWM.)

I'm missing something on this one.

Figured. Ah well.

Not sure what's supposed to be strange here...
Just the fact that an OPM is Papal Controller. Maybe it's not as weird as I thought.

That's gotta be a bug or a corrupted save or something.
I'm guessing bug - I don't remember reloading and finding that.

I'm missing something on this one.
I haven't done anything at all and my warscore is already 100%. No occupations, no battles, no nothing.

Not as good as my England > GB game in Civ Universalis where as 10 years after I conquered aquitaine, three french kingdoms became under me in PU's

I need to finally play through a Civ game. I keep getting started, but I lose interest quickly and quit. The massive late game blobs look to be fun adversaries.

As for a strange screenshot...

The AI's infinite capacity for suicide never ceaces to amaze me.

I'm afraid I don't get the joke....

The AI ignores guarantees so when Saxony declared war on their neighbor, they now have to fight half of the HRE. And they have one province. There's seven different nations sieging leipzig with more on the way
