Haha, these are some awesome screenshots!

I wish I still had my first completed save-game. Portugal re-emerged in an English colony of 10 people in the US, and the Pope colonised Canada.

I knew someone would ask. The event is "Hardy Seamen", while "Semen" means sperm...

I was hoping it wasn't this, and that this thread had gotten over that joke a while ago. If it had been misspelled in the localization, then it would be fair game. But as it is, it just isn't funny. No one needs to take a screenshot every time that event appears, just because of a similarity in spelling. The double entendre isn't even a particularly strong link.

Agreed.

This kind of joke should be reserved to Russian Generals and kings. :p

Must be a common bug.

No wonder he's excommunicated, only the Anti-Christ himself is immortal.

Do you have rulers set to historical? If a kingdom went away at a certain point in time but it still exists in game the last historical ruler just doesn't die. I know Naples got subsumed into Aragon at some point, so it makes sense that it would happen to them.

Yeah the original nations cores should really be removed... Its actually very common to see a castille or aragon after spain has formed...

I don't agree. England revolting from Great Britain is a bit odd, I agree, but what about Scotland or Wales revolting from it? That really isn't that implausible at all. And even England, well, you can rationalize that. Maybe some English nationalists don't want to be united with Scotland and reject the "British" national identity. Same could be said for most any country. Especially in the early years when there were still a good many people alive who remembered being a seperate kingdom, why wouldn't Aragon think of breaking its ties to Castille (thus revolting from Spain), given the right conditions?

There are several amusing things in this picture. First of all, Mallorca formed in northern continental Spain, rather than Mallorca??

Then Armagnac went on a conquering spree in France

And Aragon formed the Catalan republic after getting its ass whipped by the Castille and me.

Is Mallorca in vanilla IN, or is that from a mod? I haven't played in a while, not sure what might have been added in a patch.
