I don't really know if this counts as a strange occurrence, but this French screwup in the game I am currently playing has happened with zero action against France on my side (The AI England and Castille did it).

EDIT: Just to make it clear, this happened with an unmodded version of EU3 in IN. I was just playing and suddenly all the colours changed to this. I like it, but can't replicate it.

There are several amusing things in this picture. First of all, Mallorca formed in northern continental Spain, rather than Mallorca??

Then Armagnac went on a conquering spree in France

And Aragon formed the Catalan republic after getting its ass whipped by the Castille and me.

Mallorca forming there is normal, the real name of Mallorca is in fact the Kingdom of Mallorca and Roussillion.
