going to see the picture larger I got an ad which simply had a picture of windmills and it said:

"Save the environment, use wind energy!"

okay, if i had a million dollars i might buy one...

That is very bizarre. Anyone else getting strange webpages after clicking on the image?

Rather than actually deleting posts mods here hide them from our sight, but the thread still thinks they are there. Theres about two pages worth of "deleted" posts still there.

Ahh.

Some nations are more fond of their independance than Georgia...
Actually the "very likely" happened to me quite often on my early-1600s diplovassaling spree, must come from high prestige+high trust+ high DIP ruler + 0 infamy...?

qlzlkozz.jpg

So I finally decided to take on Castille - they had 146k compared to my maybe 45k, so I built up to 140k and two more transport fleets and took them on. Quite easy actually. Now for the interesting part: I let them release Granada... and they're still muslim - in 1656! What!? Not for long though, both these provinces have been my cores from events since a over century, the time has come... :ninja:

By god those ugly borders.
If it weren't for Byzantium, I would think that you started with a 1492 start date due to Austria's hegemony in modern-day Belgium and the existence of Livonia. Likewise, the Ottomans own what loosely corresponds with their would-be vassal-state, Crimea.

I started in 1482 and the ottomans were pummeled down by continuous wars and Byzantium were released, but not before being Islamized.

Congrats Irish, you've officially discouraged me from ever trying a 1482 start!

It is strange for the 5.2b 6 December update. Try it! I succeeded through a direct land conquest route.
*Pic of Manchu game*

Nice work there! I can only imagine that Muscovy has been quite a pain though.

Collapsing into a horde makes the game too easy - today, it's considered fashionable to collapse into tribal federations instead! They somehow actually managed to become a Bureaucratic Despotism later on though. Odd, I thought the AI never reforms government...

"You know what I hate? - having to work all day in this damn manufactory!" "Well, what do you want to do instead?" "Easy: We will outsource all the work to some faraway backwards country - Like Syria!"

Two popes got so carried away in the process of cleaning Mings closets from burning liquids from devils and heathens that they started disguising each other as the said devils.

But, seriously, it's a bug. Most rebels of the same types carrying similar flags cooperate with each other. If I knew how to report it, I would do it.

In my games that often happens - send 3 spies to support patriots and instead of getting one unstoppably big rebel army these guys destroy each other, letting the survivors be mopped up by the enemy.
