Hah, well on a related note, in my Granada game just now, Aragon started a holy war against my Muslim vassal, Navarra, which brought in my allies Morocco and Algiers... who happened to be fighting each other...

(Note they are sieging each other's provinces)

So now Algiers and Morocco are allied in a war together AND at war with each other. I don't think I've seen this happen before.

Also it turns out there's a Greek nation in vanilla, I haven't seen it until just now.

The weird thing about that is that Greece usually forms because it rebelled Crimea in Chersonia, its weird to see them formed in the city they where supposed too.

Saying yes would not get you into the war as long as you are at war with them, it's effective if you guarantee a country, it gets attacked and you want to attack it instead of helping, just declare war and "accept" the Call to Arms, you won't join their defensive war.

Are you DoF? if so that's the reason , it's happen in mY England/GB campaign , in the case Burgundy and Croatia.
And as Duke of Britain explained you can either accept or not the call without any ill effect.

North to south, that's Aachen, Bosnia, Swahili, Croatia, Swahili, the Hansa, and Castille. Yes, I'm Aachen, and yes, Algiers is Catholic (as is Morocco).

I don't think I had anything to do with any of this, at least not directly. Maybe indirectly in the case of Morocco and Algiers being Catholic - I remember having a war with Castille, which had conquered and converted a lot of NW Africa, while they had rebel problems there, so maybe Morocco and Algiers broke off in part because of that war.

The Croatia/Bosnia/Swahili thing, which played out over a long period of time, was more like Croatia conquers some or all of Swahili, gets some cores; Bosnia rebels from Croatia, gets a couple provinces in Europe and one in Africa; Bosnia conquers all of Croatia; Swahili is released or rebels or maybe wasn't fully conquered, I don't remember; Swahili conquers parts of African Bosnia; Croatia rebels from Swahili. Again, I don't think I had anything directly to do with any of this.

Here's the world in 1710. Other interesting little things are Malacca in the interior of southern Egypt, and Utrecht in Iceland and ONLY in Iceland (I think it's been that way since like 1500 or something):

This guy needs to buy a few more vowels. I think I'll need to drink a lot of milk before trying to pronounce this.
