Iche_Bins first two screenies with the different interface is the VIP interface developed by Tyrel68. It was included in VIP 0.45, and will be included as an option in VIP:R 0.1 when it is released (hopefully) later this month.

I've seen that Hamburg super-industry happen also. I loaded up as them to see what the heck was going on, but they had like 0 factories and nothing to indicate where they got all that ungodly industry from. Anybody know what's going on there?

All provinces (1! ) are covered by railroads. You get an industrial bonus if you manage to cover your entire nation.

I've presonally removed the railroad for Holstein and Hamburg to prevent that.

Depends a little on the date of this shot, but I'd say:

USA making some serious attempts to get footholds in Africa and also Europe, thereby preventing Italian unification.
Then in the north of Italy there are some provinces of the Two Sicilies without connection, means they must have won a war against the former possessor of these...
Then there's Belgium holding a formerly French province on the coast.
Britain made peace with Egypt and did not annex.
Then Germany, Austria and the Swiss seem to have clashed, but nothing too unusual with that.

I know I very likely have missed all vital points.

Oh and the strange thing is that the USA has got all the French coastal provinces of their colonies, France doesn't have one single coastal province in Africa.

I believe that there is a hidden way to make it zoom out further but for the life of me i cant remember what it is
something like triple click on minus or summat i not really sure
