The exact same thing happend in my current Austria game, Prussia accepted the proposal of the Frankfurt Assembly and formed Germany (which is inferior to the NGF everytime that happens, which is kinda funny methinks). The federations form and Würtemberg wants no part in it. They were promptly annexed by me though.

On the Italians in Hamburg thing: For some strange reason the Italian minors have some sort of thing for thier German counterparts. I've seen Two Sicilies annex Oldenburg, S-P annex Hamburg etc. It happens to me quite frequently. (Although I have yet to see it under the new patch, happened a lot more under previous versions.)

I have a game where Italy annexed austria, is that strange enuogh to post? If so i'll put it up when i get home.

I have another one, i've only seen this happen once, where the UK defeats the US is some war and then liberates Columbia (British columbia + washington state). And another still where they did that to New England

Adding to that: Bessarabia and the province of Ismail has been seceded BACK to Russia from Romania. Also there are some oddeties in the province distribution: Kavala is not a Bulgarian core IIRC but a Greek one, it has not been given to Greece like the other Greek cores (except Edirne and Constantinople); neither Pristina, Shkoder or Tirana are Serbian cores but has been given to them anyway.

Another strange thing, albeit not as strange, the Ottomans have annexed Egypt. I've never seen that happen before.

From what i've seen they, somehow, stop being satellites and russia donates land to them. Its wierd. Its something built into the game.

Oh, it's an ai event. Take a look at the ai_events.txt file at the events folder.

i think i'm definately going to post the italy annexing austria event, i dont see any here.

Bascially hungary revolts, per the event, and italy wars austria taking all that territory for itsself over the years. Prussia/germany has non of its cores that are on their as well i believe.

You're best off finding the shortcut you use for vicky, right clicking on it and clicking properties. Then click "Find Target" and your vicky root directory will appear magically before your eyes.

As goes screenshots, I had a wireless keyboard that wouldn't take them, so it could be something like that - if the screenshots don't appear in the Vicly folder anyway.

I've 2SC and S-P split Alaska and then S-P get a bit of the baltic and 2SC get a bit of Finland. The Crimean War is wacked out in vanilla. Uhuh yes it is *nods convincingly*
