Huh? You can't have more than one satelliter, right?
mabye, It was a while ago, and on my old computer so my memory might be a bit fuzzy. It was a satilite of at least one. Also I forgot to say that germany formed, but for some strange reason, the north and south german federations still existed, and were both about the same size as germany.

There's an event in 1850 that turns Prussia into Germany. Most of the time the AI doesn't take it, but it must have in your game. If that event happens, the Unification of Germany events that follow Prussian victory of France 1870-71 don't happen, so the various German minors don't unite with Prussia to form Germany. Instead, they remain the North and South Confederations following Prussian/German victory in 1866 over Austria.

Or so I think.

is there something like that that would explain why Two Sicilies conquered Italy but didn't achieve unification? (it was a crazy game)

The problem is Franken isn't by the sea... the question is: why do capitalists build a steamer shipyard??

It's a bug. I haven't seen them do that in a long time though so I wager the game is unpatched.

Sometimes the event just doesn't fire, mostly because the game is buggy as hell. Or it could be that France (or some other nation) conquered a province essential to unification, such as Rome or Turin.

All my games with Prussia/Germany I always end up with two von Moltke. I agree that it is nice :).

If you're playing with the Vanilla leaders and not Semper Victor's (why the heck is anyone still playing with the vanilla leaders anyway?), duplicate Moltkes happen because he and a few other generals get entries in both the Prussian and German leaderfiles.

Then the fix would be adding a "sleepleader" command for those leaders to the German unification invisible event that adds German cores and cultures to any unified Germany.

Yeah, I want my mod to be easy to integrate, and not having to go into files and add events, and so on. Too complicated for average player.

Here are some screens from a multiplayer game:
United foreva in oppression and antiturkism foreva!!!

You might ask yourself whats strange here. Well there are no factories in Croatia.

Prussia isn't taking the schlegvig war seriously enough.

The liberal revolution starts and Croatia and Slovenia (Krain) become the target of a mass exodus of Italians, Germans and Poles (All not Germans soon assimilate into Germans). Soon there are more Germans in Slovenia and Croatia as Slovenes or Croats. Well thats what i call germanization (Or German colonization :D). Seems Austria is super liberal or what lol?

I originally Posted this in the VIP forums because i was trying to get some idea as to exactly how this came about. None the less here is an insight into my latest Russia game and the empire's political landscape.

In the land of Mother Russia politics since 1900 have become exceedingly strange. ever since my beloved slavophiles gave way to the comparitively useless octoberists and Kadets (who i left in power after a liberal election victory.)

For the record, the end of the socialist revolution event has fired and militancy is globaly very minor. Badboy is tiny and i haven't fought any real wars besides the brief Russo Japanese conflict in years.

Victoria2009-06-1910-45-14-38.jpg

Mother Russia has an interesting political scene

Victoria2009-06-1910-45-46-74.jpg

Obviously low taxes, free education and healthcare are driving the people to the socialist cause

Victoria2009-06-1910-46-49-57.jpg

The people have had their Duma for years

Victoria2009-06-1910-47-58-95.jpg

The clergy and capitalists Take up the call of the workers revolution!

Victoria2009-06-1910-48-34-97.jpg

And the introduction of such horrors as infrastructure and democracy enrage the Iraqis

Of course the scene would not trully be set unless you put faces on some of these events to remind you that the chaos is not limmited to abstract regions

Capitalist Socialists, Chinese peasants for Ron Paul and Tibetan Czarists! welcome to Mother Russia!

Oh, and in a taste of Trully British humour.. the Brits agreed to give me parts of Pakistan in exchange for a large number of African holdings (which i have also taded away as means to purchasealmost all the pacific islands, Jamaica and Croatia)

Thanks Queen Victoria, thanks alot, i hope you enjoy your damn khosian livestock farmers in central Africa while i'm sorting this mess out.
