Not strange per se, but I must say it's the first time that I see IA unifying Ireland in an unmodded game, without player intervention, in ANY of the Paradox games:
I don't know if there's been a change in the latest beta that influences this, but I've seen a lot of unexpected A.I. kingdoms pop up -- Ireland, Wales, Bolgar, Lithuania.
I don't have a screentshot of it but in my current game as the Count of some far north county(sorry name is hard)he has 33+ courtiers not including his brothers and sisters and there kids. But it is just 1 county and I have never foguht anybody except another independent Pagan County far north.
I have two strange screenshots in my current 1187 game. Unfortunately I don't know how to post them.
1. A muslim Republic of Venice whose capital is Jerusalem, even though they still own Venice.
2. The 12 province Teutonic Order whose headquarters is in Wallachia and whose Grandmaster is an orthodox Rurikovich. Apparently he siezed the title of Grandmaster as the Prince of Kiev.
Third is a super powerful Hungary with extensive territories in Russia and Persia ruled by Nasr the Great an Arab Christian King. They pushed the Golden Horde out of Russia into the southeastern corner of Persia.

Well...In my current MP game, we have atleast one archbishopric run by a greek muslim, and atleast one bishopric run by a arab muslim. I thought they fixed that problem. I mean...how hard can it be?
