wasn't there also a glitch in some of the old patches that allowed you to move across a sea zone? That Happened to me once in Tangierz-> Gibraltar

The same happened to me. The armies tab in the ledger said I had a weight 26 army in Terra Incognita... so good luck finding it...

Depends on who they revolted from, though remember that the Ottomans colonized Thrace, they didn't just conquer it. I imagine Turkish was the dominant cultural element in Thrace by 1499.
