In Iberia, Spain, Argon and Castile exist side by side (Castile got hit badly by Argon near the begining and never recovered, they are not present in the Americas, and Spain recently declared indipendance from Argon).
France is a mess, with Lorraine ruling the roost there. Mainland Denmark and Southern Sweden (as well as most of Northern Scandinavia) are owned by Russia.

wasn't there also a glitch in some of the old patches that allowed you to move across a sea zone? That Happened to me once in Tangierz-> Gibraltar

Eh... no screenshot, but one weird thing I saw was a message reading "Disaster! Our army in Terra Incognita has been annhilated!"

The same happened to me. The armies tab in the ledger said I had a weight 26 army in Terra Incognita... so good luck finding it...

Depends on who they revolted from, though remember that the Ottomans colonized Thrace, they didn't just conquer it. I imagine Turkish was the dominant cultural element in Thrace by 1499.
