I lost the savegame a week ago to a computer crash, but I had a game where a rebel Kent pledged to the French Catholics faction in the AGCEEP Wars of Religion. To make it more strange, the French Catholics faction declared indepedance about 50 before the Council of Trent due to an unrelated rebellion, so it was the only CRC nation in the world. Venice had taken over Brittany, just to add to the fun. I really wish I had that screenie..... :(

Usual BwB and uber sweden, but Catalonia (sp?) is doing prety well, and is that Portugal in the north if Italy..?

Yeah something went very wrong in Italy at some stage, ending up with Scotland, England and Portugal grabbing some provinces. Also note that the grey country in Ragusa is the knights, *not* the papal states :)

My new Sibir game (mostly hands-off, though I have expanded a bit) is progressing more 'by the script' but there have been some wtf moments...

eu31.PNG

This was fairly straightforward - Trebizond was allied with France, who DoWed Brittany...what I don't get is how Trebizondians managed to arrive there first with their boats from Black Sea, before neighbouring France...

This second one is fairly normal. Aden's been apparently expanding at African coast and...now wait a darn minute...

How did Suzdal get down there? Thats very bizarre. How big are their possessions in Russia?

Suzdal has managed to stay equal or bigger than Russia/Moscow all the time, which has also led that Russia's expansion has been minimal:
eu33.PNG

They used to be bigger than that - peak of their powers was when they had very effective alliance with Russia and Norway and Suzdal owned territories all the way to Trondelag. At that point, Russia was their vassal and Norway had annexed Kazan (!). I didn't follow closely, but I think it was at that point where they began to put trading posts around. They put one next to Nubia and after that things went usual route...boy meets girl, Royal Marriage (Nubia being Orthodox), Alliance, Vassallization, Annex. I don't think they're able to retain that - by now, Sudan is already rebelling and I don't think Suzdal has actually any troops there. They also have no harbours anymore in Europe. They and Russia have also had a fall-out and I think in long run Russia's going to win. I've decided that they have my sympathy though, and I've guaranteed them and already DoWed Russia once for attacking Suzdal.

As you can see, AK has annexed Golden Horde...nation you see at Uralsk is not actually Astrakhan, but Gujarat.

I am playing MyMap-AGCEEP. This has got to be the most f-ed up Iberia I've ever seen.
There were rebels everywhere, so first all of Portugal except Lisabon became Spanish. Then Granada rebelled from Spain, and Spain had rebellions everwhere. Now, a few years later Iberia looks like this:
untitled13wh.jpg

A few years later, France annexed the Hugenots, and another province rebelled to Portugal. Also, a vicious cycle has begun where Catalonia will rebel and become independent once every ten years or so, just to be annexed by Spain or France, who are allied.

Then Catalonia acutally won a war and gained a province from Spain, and allied with England and Portugal. I don't have a screenshot of this, but if Spain-France attacks Catalonia, it should be a fairly interesting war against England-Portugal-Catalonia.

Granada has just begun to reclaim south Iberia and converting those pesky catholics.

From the same game: religious chaos.

Protestant Austria

Protestant Lithuania

Protestant Brandenburg... who is also emperor.

In fact, only France, Spain and Portugal are still catholics as of 1620 (the screens are from the 1500s). The papal states were attacked by Naples and Venice in the late 1400s, resulting in Venice taking all provinces except for Rome, and after that Naples annexed the pope.

I am playing the Byzantines, trying to reclaim my empire. It isn't easy, because the Ottomans managed to secure Egypt before I could completely take them out.

EDIT: Also, a little montage of two of the oddest CoTs I've seen yet:
Greenland is Swedish. =)

Looks like a fun game :D

Yep. =) Byzantium is a challenge. The first two hundred years were basically all wars and total economic crasch. I had three bankrupcies and had to take out war taxes a lot. Now, in 1638, I have to manage with my old inflation from that period, which is somewhere in the range of 65%.
But still, it has been a lot of fun. ;-)

I think this is the largest TO I've ever seen. Mind you, it all collapsed about ten years later.

How is it possible to play as the mercaneries? (dont sure if I spel it right, but you know whant I mean) I belived that they where removed as a TAG when the scenario editor where constructed!

They should in any case be perfect if you should do a alternative historical outcome scenario where the Eastern romans still are fighting the normans (old mercanery troops). :D

Actually it's quite easy to edit the files so you can play as them, it's most often used for hands-off games...
