Having a fertility of 8 doesn't mean that you can get 8 children
Also the traits that cause fertility loss are broken, f.e. depression should make a character infertile (-50) but depressed character still get children. So you kind of spotted a known bug

And then give it to your son as primary title, reload as him and kill your father to have that as primary title. King of the Rebels is a kickass title.
The Rebels as a nation are interesting, but there's not much you can do to interact with them sadly...
You can grab their title but you can't get it for yourself because although you can declare war on them its impossible to make peace. I did manage to assasinate their leader though.

Impossible to make peace? As in, there's no peace option? Because if there IS a peace option, you could always "Byzantine" cheat your way to seizing the claim of King of Rebels... and watch as your kingdom turns black.
There is a peace option, but even with 'Byzantine' on any peace offer you make simply won't be registered. Pity.
