Nay. His father was Duke of Austria, born and bred a German Catholic and himself married a German Catholic, dying 1129. The dude in the screenshot is the only one of 4 siblings who turned out Arab. It's likely that he became Arab because some time earlier Muslims managed to carve out a few sheikdoms in Germany, so it might be possible he spent some time in a Muslim court when he was young. His wife is also strange. She and her sister are AC as well, despite the rest of their family being Italian Catholics. What's even more weird is that one of the 5 children born to Mikal's brother is also Arab Catholic despite being surrounded by pure-bred Germans Catholics.
