Playing my second game, as Boleslaw (spelling?) II of Poland - was looking for vassals with ambitions I could fulfill and found a nobody courtier who wanted to get married.
Married him to my 55 year old mom, who thought nothing of it - surely she would have some opinion of being pressed to marry so below her station?
She has an ambition to become Spymaster but has an Intrigue rating of ZERO - whtf?
Then there's my vassal duke who declared war on my less powerful and lower ranked vassal in Grienze (spelling? I am so definately playing as England when my pre-order unlocks - I cannot handle thse names
) and I, their King ffs, couldn't do anything about it - there's no way to influence proceedings at all without resorting to assassination or imprisonment: I'm putting a limited authority bill through the court as a desperate response to such impotence, but would not a King have some influence over his subjects' disputes?
And I need some advice; when Grienze falls to the aggressive Duke I'll be away campaigning in Savoie and am worried this ambitious dude will be looking to sieze the throne. What should I be doing now to prepare?
