I have a strange occurance of deaths of Caliphs after the "Chaos in Bagdad" event fired.

Disclaimer: I am posting this as its own thread and not in the bug reports because I did fiddle around with the mod a bit. I am however unsure whether something like this is caused by me submodding around or by a bug within CKII+ since I didn't touch anything in conjuncture to the Abbasids or any kind of events or decisions or anything else concerning it

Changes I made:
  • Adding some new province titles for Rome/Byzantium
  • Changing capitals of some of the existing ones (Cairo -> Alexandria; Jerusalem -> Damascus; Marrakech -> Fes)
  • Changing some borders of existing province titles (k_mauretania: reduced to d_tangier, d_fes, d_tlemcen, d_zab; k_aegyptus: d_sinai to k_syria_palaestina; k_illyrucum: d_carinthia to k_roma; k_germania: taken away anything east of the Elbe and south of the Danube)
  • Splitting d_bavaria in half (d_bavaria and d_lower_bavaria) to create a more or less correct danubian border for Rome
  • Creating custom events for the establishment of the new provinces including localisation
  • Creating corresponding events, although they lack any loclisation or reference in their corresponding decisions
  • Changes to the "Roman Borders Restored" event to include some of the new provinces as well as taking into account all provinces added under Trajan; instead of regions it now checks for control of the provincial titles
I have already tested most of that stuff on my laptop and got up to the 900s reconquering most of the post 3rd century territory without anything out of the order (The events for the new provinces as well as the change to the border restoration event were changes I made very recently). The "Chaos in Bagdad" event happened and was later lifted without any problems at all.

In my current play through I had the Chaos in Bagdad event happen routhly 807 to 808. SInce then, Caliphs are dying after a short period in power from "Riots". In December 3rd 810, the game crashes.

A screenshot from the Abbasid perspective:

My question would be: Does that happen with a clean version of CKII+ or did I screw up somewhere?

I've seen it occur in vanilla, if I recall correctly. It certainly seems unrelated to anything you modded on top of CK2+.
