Strange De Jure Message

I got a strange de jure message. I am King of Ireland and England, but I started as an Irish count so my Irish title was acquired first. But I got a de jure message that (paraphrasing here) 'After 100 years under the Kingdom of Ireland, the Kingdom of Ireland is no longer de jure of Brittania.' However, when I checked the conditions to form Britannia, Kingdom of Ireland was still one of the possible king titles. Can anyone explain what happened, and what it means?

Ireland is nolonger considered inside the empire of Britannia check the de jure map of empires. In curent build there is a bug that causes independent kingdoms to de jure shift out of uncreated empires. It should work only for created empires.

Nothing has changed. All it means is that Ireland is not part of Britannia, so creating that Empire would require 80% of Scotland, Wales, and England. Ireland no longer contributes to creating the Empire.

But if you do create it, I think after 100 years, Ireland will drift back into it. Drifting out of uncreated empires is rather strange...

Nothing has changed. All it means is that Ireland is not part of Britannia, so creating that Empire would require 80% of Scotland, Wales, and England. Ireland no longer contributes to creating the Empire.

I thought you didn't get de jure drift once the empire was formed?

You do.Take the HRE in a 1066 start as an example. They have Burgundy drifting in.
I assume this would work for any player who has created an empire and owns an entire kingdom that's not de jure...but I haven't done it myself so I can't confirm it.

You can de jure drift in and out of empires in the current version. If the whole kingdom is under HRE for hundred of years it becomes de jure land of HRE, but if the whole kingdom is outside of the HRE and is de jure part of it. It will drift out of the HRE in hundred years. This is made to make it possible to get out of the empires so ERE doesn't for example have de jure claims to southern italy the whole game.

doesn't matter, the ERE will just use "Imperial reconquest" on them instead

I'm not sure this is right, I got the same message as Wales but on the de jure map it still shows Wales as part of Brittania... the countdown restarted from 0 the next year.

the de jure drift out of empires currently does not work, and the counter will just reset itself after the message.
