strange ctds.

Hi, I decided to reinstall my EUII for some reason so I did. then I installed 1.09, installed EGUFSM 1.1, installed agceep139deluxe.exe.

Now AGCEEP starts up fine, but if I try and change country shields (going through the countries) or start a game as any country it CTD's with no error. I have reinstalled everything about 4 times and it does it every time.

It worked fine before I reinstalled my EUII.

btw I tried uninstalling AGCEEP and reinstalling, when I install it the GFX folder stays in the AGCEEP folder. When I try to use it, it says it is being used by another program... But no other programs are open lol.

EDIT - Wow this is really making me angry

I must of reinstalled EUII about 15 times now and still the same thing. It also CTD's if I try to change options.

No one has any idea? My regular EUII works fine. but AGCEEP dosnt. What could make it crash with no error box? It seems like anytime it tries to change a file it crashes (i.e changing country in the country selector, changing options, or starting game) although I dont know anything about this. And why would it do this everytime I reinstall it?

Ok I fixed it this is very strange though. I just got an isp a few weeks ago. Before that I burned AGCEEP and EUII 1.09 on a disk at my friends house. So I decided to reinstall EUII again, then I installed the patch from the disk and AGCEEP from the disk... and now it works. This dosnt make any sense to me at all but it works now. Why would the files on the disk that I downloaded at my friends house be any different from the ones I download on my own computer?

Oh well I kissed the monitor when It worked, I cant live without AGCEEP and EUII :rofl:

The wierd thing is I downloaded about 5 different times to make sure. Very very strange. But I am happy now. I got my disk with it on there.

Bleh....Crash To Desktop....that's happened way too much to me with AGCEEP.

It only happens when I put the speed on Very or Extremely Fast and it generally happens when I'm in a war. I never, ever go to Extremely Fast because there is a 99% chance that my comp will CTD.

I'm a newb to these forums but not really to on-line gaming. I had just never heard of CTD before

That was couse of corupted shields files. I ever had this kind of CTD when using Purhepecha shields from Request threads. Only need to modified that corrupted files . I think you got corrupted files from uncompleted download EGUFSM 1.1 may be.
