Stopping a war

I'm in a new italian campaign and I have invaded the bloodthirsty Yougoslavian. They offered me a peace treaty that I have accepted, giving me the provinces north of Sarajevo...The only problem is that Germany declared war on me because of their independence garantee...But now the war is over...How can I stop this pointless war agains Germany, between our airforces as we have no frontiers???What file do I have to modify????

you could type in acceptall in the console and ask them for a white peace

or save and load as Germany and offer a peace deal. Acceptall is easier though.

Why does everyone suggest cheating? he wants advice, not cheats, I suggest you merely offer a white peace, or beg, otherwise you'll likely be crushed, you have little chance other wise.

The only problem is that Germany declared war on me because of their independence garantee...But now the war is over...

Germany and SU almost always declare war if guarantee to someone. They have 5 years to do it, but in game it takes no more then 1 month. Later they didn't. In 1936-1937 Italy was far away from Germany. Mussolini even don't agree with Germany anschluss of Austria at first moment. Simply declare war on Yugo later. Acceptall breakes game concept .... As Italy you have grab Portugal, Spain. Make allies like Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria and strike on France before Germans. There is a lot of possibilities.

Your current game has small sense without cheats. Of course you can build 10 level forts on Germany and his future allies borders but you have no IC to do that. There is a lot other things in game which can be strange. Some events are scripted, and for example if you puppet Norway or Luxemburg and don't be in Axis, it's very possible then Germany strikes you becouse some events ....

I say cheat as well this game doesn't know peace your war against Germany will go on until one or the other is destoryed I have never seen major counties accept white peace outside of an event
