That's exactly my point. I didn't have any other option by that point, couldn't change my mind and just massacre them all or something (screw you, Prima!) I was quite annoyed, google said me nothing, so it took me some time to figure out where was the issue (if it is one and not simply designed that way).Oh no your right, but the method of ending the edict by speaking to the prima, is simply "kill the earthshakers" as quests go, it's lame and boring. It lacks any depth, nuance or imagination. As you might be able to guess, I'm very dissappointed with the range of solutions to quests (if any range is offered at all) Obsidian dropped the ball here I think and in the same way, consistantly across the game. I find it a huge detraction from what otherwise might have been a masterpiece gaming experience.
If I ever replay it I'll just kill'em all))
Actually, how else can you lift the Edict if the mages live? Is it possible?
