A sad but true story; I've gone from a Vic vet to a Vic noob in a couple of years. Long story short, I picked this up again (vanilla + expansions + up to date) and started a game with Prussia. Everything going fine, except I cannot stockpile.
My usual strategy as far as I remembered was, I would only sell goods above 2000 units. For strategic resources I also buy up until 2000. If I'm in a big war I just then move the slider to 100 and it gives me a massive buffer that could last for years without having to buy anything during war time.
However now it does not work. I've unticked the 'automate' button, moved coal and cattle slider to sell above 2000 units only as a try but nothing happens. They are still my main commodity and my main export! Is there a problem with this feature or am I missing something? My political party is the usual conservative (with protectionism).
