Is that intended?

I just built a stirling generator in a dome and its working.
I assumed you couldnt do that since it specifies that if closed it produces less power but is protected from dust (this leads me to believe it only works outside)...

well its in a dome right now so i never have to close it anymore ... ?

Oh.

Does it say that somewhere or am i supposed to know this already somehow?
It's a joke. Apparently a bad one.

The Stirling Generator is some sort of radio-isotope dealie. The sorta thing that's nice in space because of few moving parts and minimal logistical requirements combined with a large power output ability. Not the sort of thing you'd want in your habitat bubble next to the space-bar if you can help it.
To the best of my knowledge, radiation poisoning isn't modeling in game. I was attempting to be humorous.

Lol ... I did think that you were joking at first but wasnt sure ... I didnt/dont really know what a stirling generator is and i always assumed radiation to be implemented in the game already

From what you say i would assume you shouldnt be able to build one in your domes, an oversight maybe.
