I believe that Paradox has gone a long way since 1.0, still some issues need to be fixed:
- Planes being intercepted will abort their mission wether they won or lost (strategic bombing)
- when ordering a tactical attack with planes, they will continue their bombing run even if they are no more ennemies in the province.
- attacking a retreating unit with tactical bomber will abort their move (they keep the order, but they don't advance. when retreating units should suffer from the tactical bombing, but not be brought back in combat.
- AI is better at beach landing, the problem now is that they tend to have transport fleets that travel with no escort, making them very easy targets. They seem to have an issue with massive beach landings though, which is needed for Asian islands and fortress Europe.
- When taking over an ally army control, you cannot board their units. That is a show stopper.
- When taking over an ally AI army command, they seem to be disabled and stop doing anything. This is fine, but we need an option to give the command back to the AI.
- bug 4500 AD???
there are 100's of other issues, but none of them are real show stoppers, just mere annoyance or subject to heated discussions
I love that game, and I am looking forward to have these issues fixed before I can go back an play. I hope they were already planed to be fixed in 1.04.
