Basically, we have higher ticket prices than usual, and no passengers seem to care, and we don't have as many expenses.

Pensioners, blue collars and especially students do care. Raise your ticket prices and follow your passangers by social group and fare dodging graphs.

But yes, making money is easy at least on normal difficulty once learn how to start (=not like tutorial suggests). But really that's how it should be for game to be fun to play. You wanna build your network more than worry about bank balance all the time. Openttd is pretty similar in that regard.

Even business people do care about ticket prices (though not as much as lower class people), as I lower price then their usage of public transport rise.
