Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
This is something that has been irking me for quite a long time now and i am surprised noone else seems to have had an issue with that. When in Diplomacy screen with a subject whilst they are spiritualists (might not be limited to the ethic) they will say "X, Masters of the material plane, do you come to ask for spiritual guidance, or give orders?" Instead of X being their Master, they use X to refer to themselves, which makes no sense. I can recall that they also say other things or other instances where the Subject wants to address their Master but instead refers to themselves. This exists since quite a long time now already, i guess there is something wrongly coded when choosing their masters name, i can vaguely remember it not just being limited to spiritualists. In the added screenshot they use their own species name instead of mine.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Get a subject of choice, preferably spiritualists since i know it works for sure, with good relations and look at Dialogue.
