Vassal's Fleet goes to my Fleet and doesn't use it to protect itself/attack the Empire it declared War upon.

Game Version
Fornax v3.5.2 (27el)

Steam

No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I gained a small Vassal (Very Early on in the Game). It declared War upon a neighboring Empire and it's Fleet was following my Fleet, which by default at the Start of the Game had the Option on that AI-Fleet's should follow it. The Problem is that as the Vassal was the Aggressor, I wasn't called into the War, so their Fleet was standing around next to mine, doing nothing, while their Empire was captured and it got annexed by the neighboring Empire.

If you are not in the War with your Allies/Vassals, the Button should not effect their Fleets,
so that they don't kill themselves by not being able to use their Fleets.

As this Game was a Iron-man Run, I do not have a Save File to show the Problem at the Time it occured, as the Game auto-saved shortly after the event and I didn't take a Screenshot as I was baffled by the AI not being able to use it's Fleet to defend itself.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Have a Vassal, that has the Policy that only in Defensive Wars, you get called in.
2. Have a Fleet of yours, that has the "Allies-Follow-this-Fleet" Button turned on. (By Default turned on, on your first Fleet.)
3. Have the Vassal declare War upon a Neighboring Empire.
4. Watch as the Fleet(s) of your Vassal, stay around your Fleet senselessly, as it's Space is being captured by the Empire it declared War upon.
5. ??? - (Wait until it gets capitulated.)
6. Profit - (Watch as your Vassal, gets annexed without putting up a fight, as it's Fleet(s) stood around yours doing nothing.)

On your fleets you may find this "Take Point" option. That should make some (sometimes all of allie fleets) to follow one of the fleets with this option on. If you don´t want it just click it and it won´t be highlighted anymore. HF

Yup, this is the Take Point behavior - the vassal is trying to be good and support your fleets rather than haring off to randomly suicide them.

It's definitely somewhat silly that they'll stay there indefinitely, but seems to be at least somewhat working as intended.
