Description
[v3.03 d281] Awakened Empire a little too trigger-happy with its Planet Cracker

Game Version
v3.03 d281

What version do you use?
Steam

What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I thought the Jingoistic Reclaimers had hit peak Xenophobe when they cracked the Font of Knowledge instead of invading it as they easily could have, but then they declared war on the Xenophile FE and despite crushing them, managed to lose their Capital (The Core) to a counter-attack.

The obvious move was to crack it as well. I thought I understood why they cracked FoK (3-4k armies is a lot), but the core only has an invasion force of 480. I'm not sure why the AI believes cracking its own capital is the best move, but it probably has to do with the Total War CB that the AI generally struggles with. It's just that generally they just ignore the system they lost because they forgot it was ever theirs, not blow it to oblivion.

The ironman save happens just as the Planet Cracker orbits The Core, which is great timing (that was one hell of a pop-up I got...).

Steps to reproduce the issue.
I assume: get an AI with a planet cracker to lose one of its planets in a Total War conflict.
