and it seems like the Leaders that are requested are predetermined ahead of the player receiving the event? So you should see the pending request in that save.

Worm-in-Waiting chain: Horizon Signal
For its third request, the Leader it wrote love poems to was S875.1 Warform. You know..... the Corroded Warship anomaly....
Is it really intended that this event request uniques? If so, that kinda sucks. And even if it's intended.... this Leader is a relatively primitive AI integrated into an ancient warship I found on a planet. And what's better is, I allowed it to go in the interests of science, and..... the Leader was sucked right out of the warship, resulting in the eye-rollingly ridiculous "briefing" text where S875.1 expresses its heartfelt determination and innermost feelings about fate,
AND, it leaves the actual ship unit devoid of any leader but still active and seemingly functional - but I am still unable to add a leader to it ("not allowed to change the leader," even tho there currently ISN'T one). And I STILL can't merge all event ships into Fleets properly, so now I have this ancient automated Warform with its AI brains scooped out following my forward fleet around like a lobotamized puppy.
