Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
There's a number of irritating bugs with synthetically ascending, namely that, synthetics are not properly merged into your species, upon completion.

This means that if you select "allow production of any species" in your queue, it will produce traditional synths and your ascended species, randomly. This shouldn't be the case; it should be only your ascended species.

Related bugs: If you rename your entire ascended species or give them new traits and apply it to everyone in your empire, then if you attempt to select that new template in the production tab, the indicator will not properly select your species.

Similarly, if you rename all your robots/synths using this same method (again, post ascension), it will still leave the "robot" template forever as an option to be selected.

I suspect if the bug where synthetics aren't converted/merged into your primary species is fixed, this will no longer be an issue.

It's rather annoying to have to hold off on producing *any* robots until you fully ascend *and* force production of your species to avoid this problem.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Synthetically Ascended on your empire.
2. Take note that robot pops were not converted over to your native species; they're still robots/droids/synthetics.
3. Take note that when you select which model to produce, there's a "robot" model that shouldn't be there.
4. Change the traits of your existing ascended species and apply it to all pops in your empire
5. Take not that the selection indicator will no longer apply to your species
6. Change the name of the robotic pops and apply it to all robotic pops
7. Take note that the "robot" pop still remains in the production pool
