[Since 2.6.1, still in 2.6.3] [ae56] Separatists - Problem
Game Version
Since 2.6.1, still in 2.6.3 [ae56]
What version do you use?
Steam
What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above
Do you have mods enabled?
No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
In two of my last games in the neighbouring AI empires (and yesterday also in my empire) separatists formed. All leaders of them were from randomly selected species in appearance, preferred planet and characteristics. Problem is the founder species has 0 (!) population to the end of the game and new AI empire take a name from these new species (which basically doesn't exist). The subjects on the separatist planets are also randomly generated species mixed with those from the game. In my empire formed separatists yesterday. Subjects are from my species, from some new too and the Leader was from completely new species with 0 population on the list... The same situation is with other separatist groups and I have in my game (800-stars spiral galaxy and 10 Empires at the beginning) already 62 different species (some of them have the same name [2x Obhha species with a different look] or the same appearance [3 identical species with 3 different names) and numbers still growing... On the second screenshot - you can see pops of separatist empire (mix of existing and new species) and the Leader is from new species with 0 pops, even on the planet itself... This spoils the game's immersion completely. Please check.
EDIT: I added third picture now with some more explanation and in my opinion a clear example of the problem.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
You have to wait until separatists will form. In my first example - from the AI lithoid empire: bird-like (Ozkox in the picture) and later dragon-like (Sek-Lokkar in the picture) separatists formed, which were not in the game at all (even 1 population!). As you see at the picture there is a lot of this kind of pops. And no, these new species with 0 pops are not from the Pre-FTL Empires who advanced and gained control of their home planets (this in-game system works fine).
