Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I had the event in which a dimensional portal opens in my homeworld system (The Doorway), which connects to another universe. I chose to save the beta world, and the Plight for the Beta Universe situation was presented. I spent all the needed energy and science in order to bring the counter down to 0, which I managed to acomplish. However at some point the counter started to go up (after having being at 0 for some months). The situation updated to "one last plea". I chose to spend the science that was asked for. However in the end the beta universe was destroyed and the situation ended like that.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Play the game, get the Doorway event, then get the Plight for the Beta Universe situation. The attached save game is from the same game, but I continued playing, so I don´t know if it will be useful

Exact same scenario as Trueno33's.

Additional issue I had happen was that the event that allows you to choose between stealing an artifact or giving it back kept repeatedly popping up. (I was playing as Barbaric Despoilers and thus could only choose stealing). This happened 3 times then stopped. Afterwards, it played out just as Trueno33 described.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Have the Plight of the Beta Universe situation happen from the Doorway event (as a Barbaric Despoiler?).
