Payback debt collectors broken by multiplayer [v3.7.2] & [e793]

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I played a multiplayer game with a friend, I had payback origin. When the debt collectors came, I wasn't prepared, so my friend came to my help and defeated them in a joint effort with me.
This made the event lock itself :
- no more debt collectors spawning
- "debt collectors are due to arrive x date" where x is way before current date
- The event "getting back" not triggered
- Overall the payback origin being softlocked. This didn't make the game impossible to finish, but this ruined the origin story.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
When the payback's debt collectors come, have another player destroy them.
