Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I've seen it in the previous pre-overlord version as well, with any ship type. In this case, Science vessel in system A is told to move to adjacent (1 jump) system B. Instead of doing one jump, it paths through the local wormhole, then jumps to adjacent system there, then wormhole to system B. I've seen this with gate/wormhole combos as well.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Pick 2 adjacent systems with wormholes that have a short connecting path between their exits. In this case it was one jump between their exits. I have also watched a fleet jump to another system and use a gate to get to an adjacent system. And the solar system paths were not even shorter.
In the save game attached the auto_save was slightly before the screenshot (ironman mode). When loading up, tell the USS Newton to move from Wistral to Carynno and you'll see the path issue.
