Where does this sudden influx of soap memes actually come from? Wasn't paying attention besides the DDs, so is there someone willing to enlighten this uneducated fool ?

I didn't follow too closely either but I think it's just a running gag based off the graphic look of the "alloys" icon in one of the dev diaries.

Someone in the twitter teaser tread referd to "Alloys" as "Soap mana". I decided to ridicule that by making a meme, and i'm very happy it caught on!

I thought the "mana" stuff in EU4 came from the fact that it came mainly from your ruler, hence the name "mana" from a wizard ? That doesn't apply to the soap from your soap factories ?

Anyway, keep the memes coming, they amuse me.
