Machine Assimilator Habitat Seems to Require Non Drone Worker Which is Impossible

I am a Machine Assimilator Empire. On a recently created Habitat there is a space for "Workers" for Farming but none for Menial Drones. I can't seem to assign anyone to the spot, bc Assimilators only have Drones not Workers.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
