Stellaris launching but not loading

Good day all,

I'm having an issue with Stellaris at the moment. When I launch the game from Steam, the launcher loads and I'm able to press play. The loading screen shows up, the loading bar shows up, and I can hear the music playing. But the loading bar does not move, it doesn't move immediately nor does it move after waiting for 15 minutes of waiting.

I have no mods loaded or even installed. I have performed two clean installs of Stellaris as well as resetting Steam completely by deleting the core files with the exception of steamapps and steam.exe.

If anyone could offer me some pointers I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've done that. But when I click on Stellaris Tech Support it says I don't have access to those forums.

Did you try since the icons appeared under your name ?

@TinyWiking might have to sort you out tomorrow if you still can't access that subforum.

Did your clean install include making sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Stellaris or Documents Stellaris locations, before installing again ? If not or you are not, sure, please try that again.

If still no good: DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/settings.txt.
From your Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach system.log .
