Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Keepers of Knowledge keeps thinking that I'm rivaling them, and sends me messages to humiliate me. Out of the two options I get for the message, one is to accept and end rivalry with Keepers of Knowledge, and the other is to ignore. However, I'm not rivaling them, since their power is overwhelming compared to mine so I can't even rival them if I want to. This keeps giving me the "humiliated" trait and gives me debuffs.

Not at all. I'm on a pretty peaceful playthrough and haven't even declared any wars yet.
