Description
Inhabited worlds of uncontacted empires reveal too much info
Game Version
3.4.2 (7836)
What version do you use?
Steam
What expansions do you have installed?
Synthetic Dawn, Utopia, Leviathans Story Pack, Apocalypse, Megacorp, Distant Stars, Ancient Relics, Lithoids, Federations, Nemesis, Aquatics
Do you have mods enabled?
No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When your science ship finds a colony of an empire with whom you haven't established communications, the colony's overview can already be opened. It shows information that seems at odds with the rest of the game, too much for an empire you haven't even "met".
That includes:
- Species name
- Species traits
- Pop growth on the colony (including factors affecting it, which can reveal leader's name, title, traits)
- Pop ethics (which may hint at empire ethics), happiness, jobs, etc
All of this information is otherwise "hidden" as the species and the empire aren't yet visible in the species or contact overview, so this doesn't seem like intended behavior.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Enter a system with a colony belonging to another empire, while that empire's first contact event is still ongoing.
2. Click on the planet to open its overview.
