Great Khan dies of old age almost immediately - and is missing name in event

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The Khan arose in 2337, within a year he had died of old age. I'm not sure if the event can't find their name after they died, or if he broke in some way and perhaps was never alive? Obviously this was a pretty disappointing midgame crisis, the Khan should either not spawn "old" or should always have a successor Khan in the first few years
