stellaris game start issue

So over the last few days I have been trying to play Stellaris on my Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05 and I have noticed a problem. The game launcher works fine, however I have noticed that anytime I launch the game (With & Without MODS) that the game appears in the task bar, however I have to hit TAB to get the screen to change to something else.

I have tried the following:
- Disabled all mods
- Selected borderless screen
- Verified game files in Steam
- Completely removed the game, manually deleting relevant folders
- Reinstalled clean version
- Temporarily disabled firewall
- Ran System File Checks
- Tested CK2 and CK3 which loads OK

Any help would be great

Are you sure you did this? Because that should fix that problem, and I see the game is in fullScreen in those files.
