Had a store discount from the B-tech kickstarter so pre-ordered before it expired.
Nothing else I was going to use it on anyway.

I totally get that with regard to the new content in the DLC itself, but some of what's coming in the free update seems centered on tweaking the mechanics introduced 2.0 so that they function better. In that sense, some of the "new" mechanics here are really just supplements and extensions of the 2.0 changes. Things like the clustered hyperlanes, the anomaly tracker, anomaly fail risk, and science ships being able to partly get around hyperlane restrictions are all part of that. Obviously bug fixes are part of that too, but that's always a given.
I don't see 2.1 as them jumping ahead, I see it as ironing out 2.0.
Extremely Hypped by this DLC.
I hope in the future "Leviathans" or other giant creatures will be more numerous and have a better role than just being killed.
(I would love to see a system with 2 ether drake in it, Matriarch and Patriarch, the patriarch being an even stronger version than the normal drake)
Would be so cool ...
Though on a side note, Stellaris 2.0 has just comes out and already a new DLC ?
I would have preferred this DLC to come like 1 months after the "Niven" update. It's just too fast and the current version still need fixing :/
Nah, to me it's one of the lame one...Wow, the Trailer is great.
