Ancient weapons make normal weapons obsolete, even though they are much weaker

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I noticed that in the ship designer "Ancient Macro Batteries" make "Stormfire Autocannons" obsolete, even though Ancient Macro Batteries (small) have only an average damage of 3.70/tick, while Stormfire Autocannons (small) have an average damage of 19.99/tick (!) (see screenshots). While for human players this is no big problem (simply design your ships manually), I still think this is a big problem, because computer players auto-design their ships/starbases and prefer the much weaker Ancient Macro Baterries over the Autocannons, which totally unbalances the game (computer players suddenly become no match at all).
I also think that the Autocannon type weapons in general are too overpowered (compare the average damage of Autocannons with other weapon types), the first player who develops autocannons will win the game (this almost doubles the fleet power).
